Optional badges for pros
Pros can add badges that show extra checks. They’re optional, so not every pro has one.
- Licence badge: licence details reviewed by the spotstr team.
- A badge can be wrong or out of date, so always use your own judgment.
Trust & safety
spotstr is for adults who want to find and book local professionals. Here’s what the app does to keep things safe, what we expect from everyone, and how to report a problem.
What the app really does, and what it doesn’t.
Pros can add badges that show extra checks. They’re optional, so not every pro has one.
Clients can review pros, and reviews help everyone decide.
See something wrong? Tap “…” and choose Report or Block.
spotstr is only for adults. Everyone confirms they’re 18 or older when they sign up.
Chat inside the app without giving out your number.
Automatic tools help catch harmful content. They’re not perfect, which is why reports matter.
Help us keep spotstr safe. Here’s how it works.
On a profile, chat, review or deal, tap “…”, then Report. Pick a reason and add details if you like.
Reports are confidential. The spotstr team reviews every report.
We may remove content, or warn, restrict or close an account, and we tell the person why and how to appeal.
spotstr isn’t an emergency service. Call your local emergency number (911 in the US) first.
No. Everyone confirms they’re 18 or older, and pros can add an optional licence badge. We don’t check the identity of every user, so read profiles and reviews, and use your judgment.
Open their profile, your chat with them, their review or their deal, tap “…”, then Report. You can also email support@spotstr.com.
Other users see your public profile. Your phone number and email aren’t shown unless you share them in a message. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Depending on what happened, we may remove content, or warn, restrict or close the account. Serious cases, and anything involving a minor, can be reported to the authorities.
Check their profile and reviews, meet at a public place or a registered business where you can, tell someone you trust where you’re going, and leave if you feel unsafe. Before a treatment, ask about hygiene, licensing, aftercare and allergies.
What’s allowed on spotstr, and what isn’t.
Our zero-tolerance policy on child sexual abuse and exploitation.
