Delete your account

You can delete your spotstr account at any time, in the app or by email. Here’s exactly how, and what happens to your data.

How to delete your account in the app

Profile → Settings → Account → Delete my account → type DELETE.

    Open your Profile

    Open spotstr and tap Profile in the tab bar.

    Tap Settings

    Scroll down and tap Settings.

    Tap Account

    Open Account, then tap Delete my account.

    Type DELETE

    Read what will be deleted, then type DELETE to confirm.

    Delete permanently

    Tap Delete permanently. Your account is deleted right away.

What is deleted and what is kept

What we delete

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Your account
  • Profile
  • Photos and videos
  • Messages and chat files
  • Requests
  • Reviews
  • Following (favorites)
  • SpotSignals

What we keep, and for how long

Payment and tax records that we are required by law to keep are kept for the legally required period, then deleted. Everything else is deleted or anonymised within 30 days.

This can’t be undone

Once your account is deleted, we can’t recover it or any of your data. You can always sign up again later with a new account.

Professionals: cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in Profile → Settings → Billing & payments → Manage subscription, or in your store’s subscription settings.

Can’t open the app? Ask us by email

Email support@spotstr.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We complete requests within 30 days.
