Go live

One switch puts you on the map for clients nearby. Choose how long you’re live (1 hour unless you change “Go live for”), then show what’s really happening in four modes, in the same colours clients see in the app.

  • Clients see how long you’re free, like “Free until 4:33 PM”, and “Ending soon” in the last 20 minutes.
  • Add a short note of up to 40 characters, like “With a client” or “Lunch break”.
  • While you’re busy or away, new requests still arrive, just quietly, without a sound.
  • Your followers get a notice when you go live (at most once a day).

A client cancelled or you have a gap today? Fill it fast. Post the free slot with the service, the time window and your minimum price, and decide whether clients can book it instantly.

  • Cancellation Drop: shows on your profile and as a pulsing pin on the map, with “Book this slot” when instant booking is on.
  • Last-minute opening: a slot today at less than your regular price, shown in the “Last-minute openings” row on Discover.
  • Open spot today: a quick “⚡ Open spot today” pill on your card.
  • Late-evening openings roll over to tomorrow automatically.

Clients say what they need, their budget and by when. Requests that match your work and area show in Find work, and new SpotSignals reach you as a notification.

  • See the service, budget, time, distance and the client’s details before you answer.
  • Filter by distance (up to 300 miles), your service only, or requests nobody has answered yet.
  • Send an offer with your price, start time and a note. When the client accepts, it’s booked.
  • When a client shares comfort wishes, like “Quiet session” or “First time, a bit nervous”, you see them on the request.

Want more people to see you? Post deals for free, and boost when you want extra visibility. Boosted placements are always labelled, and results aren’t guaranteed.

  • Deals: up to 2 active deals free, each with up to 5 photos or a video up to 60 seconds, at a real discount from your normal price.
  • SpotBoost: a bigger pin at the top of the map and first in nearby results and SpotSignal matches, for 1 to 12 hours, from US$2.99 (1 hour) to US$9.99 (12 hours).
  • Deal boost: one deal shown more often in Find Deals for 24 hours, US$2.99.

How do I start?

Download spotstr, choose a Professional account, set up your profile and start your membership. Then turn on Available whenever you’re free.

How do clients pay me?

You collect payment from your clients directly, the way you already do. spotstr doesn’t handle or hold those payments.

Do I need a licence badge?

No, it’s optional. If your work needs a licence, you can add it and our team reviews it for a licence badge.

How do I cancel?

In the app: Profile → Settings → Billing & payments → Manage subscription. Or cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions. Your listing stays active until the end of the paid period.
